Running a node is straightforward and can be done on a personal computer. Depending on the activated modules, specific hardware enhancements might be necessary—such as increased hard drive space for storage modules and greater processing power for AI modules.
By running a single piece of node software, node operators can choose which network features they would like to support and receive $LIFT rewards for, depending on what parts of their compute and storage they would like to utilize. Operators can run any combination or all of the modules at once.
The $LIFT token powers the LIFT Protocol. $LIFT is the gas token of LIFTChain, and TGE will coincide with the LIFT mainnet launch. 20% of the total supply of $LIFT is allocated to node operators
how to get a lift node license
Operating a LIFT modular node requires a node license. Data center operators can contact us about bulk purchasing node licenses.
LIFT node licenses are distributed in the form of temporarily soulbound NFTs that will become transferable six months after the LIFT mainnet goes live.
The LIFT mainnet is scheduled for launch Q1 2025, but rewards for node license holders will start well before mainnet.

How are node operators rewarded?
Node operators earn $LIFT tokens as compensation for their contributions to the network. The distribution of rewards is proportional to the value of each operator's contribution at a given time.
What was the genesis node sale?
The Genesis Node License Sale was an initial offering of 1,000 Genesis Nodes that took place on August 14, 2024, and sold out within 24 hours. For information on future node license sales, follow LIFT's official channels
can I operate a node without using my personal computer?
if you prefer not to use your own hardware, you can utilize the Node-as-a-Service platform to operate a node.
